Vincredible Music #2 – Platoon (C64)

Here’s the haunting title theme to 1987’s Platoon, the (insanely difficult) game based on Oliver Stone’s oscar winning movie. Composed by Jonathan “Choroid” Dunn.

Sampley wampley! The NES version was sampled, sped up and had it’s lunch money nicked by Diplo in 2004 for his tune Diplo Rhythm. 

 

 

Dunn of course was no stranger to being sampled, his Robocop theme having been sampled for this 1991 Ariston advert.
